Swell resistant EPDM surface for UV printing
BIRKAN UV Compressible EPDM is a widely recognised and proven printing blanket that stands for perfect print quality and a broad range of applications in UV offset printing.
The micro-ground surface of BIRKAN UV Compressible EPDM is extremely resistant to UV inks and also impresses with its excellent ink transfer and sharp dot reproduction. It reduces ink and paper dust build-up and ensures very good sheet release with a wide range of substrates.
The thick, compressible layer filled with microspheres provides smash resistance and blanket durability. A stabilising fabric between the surface and the compressible layer as well as the dense low stretch fabric ensure extra robustness and stability to the blanket.
